Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU setting • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans • Monitor and respond to patients' changing needs, including vital signs, medications, and treatments • Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
Required Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU or critical care setting • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with ability to obtain CPI certification (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI) • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including the prison population
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience working with patients with complex medical conditions, such as cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and neurologic disorders • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and ability to learn new systems quickly • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
