Registered Nurse PACU
Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU
Location: Cumming, GA
Schedule: Nights
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to ensure a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery area. • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established standards and protocols. • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Required Qualifications: • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Georgia • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the PACU specialty • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification • Current Neurological History and Physical Examination (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare information systems • Familiarity with PACU-specific protocols and procedures • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
