Registered Nurse PreOp

Job Title: Registered Nurse - PreOp

Location: Highland Hills, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in the Pre-Operative (PreOp) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth pre- and post-operative experiences • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, pain levels, and medication administration • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Required Qualifications: • Current Ohio License (or Compact State License) with at least 18 months of recent experience in a PACU setting • Minimum of 18 months of permanent (PERM) PACU experience prior to travel • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications • Passing scores on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with Qualivis – Lotus for tracking hours worked • Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare information systems • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Experience with PBDS Assessment is a plus
