Registered Nurse PACU

Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU

Location: Canton, GA

Schedule: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), ensuring a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery room. • Assess, monitor, and manage patients' physical and emotional needs, including vital signs, pain management, and medication administration. • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Implement evidence-based practices and guidelines to optimize patient care and satisfaction. • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Georgia • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU or related specialty • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other clinical software • Knowledge of pain management techniques and pharmacological interventions • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
