Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Asheville, NC

Schedule: Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes • Utilize evidence-based practices and clinical expertise to optimize patient care and outcomes • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental performance and patient satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS • Ability to work in a high-acuity environment with multiple priorities and deadlines • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (> 100,000 visits) • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and documentation systems • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
