Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Tuscaloosa, AL
Schedule: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet individual needs • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care • Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize patient needs and manage multiple patients simultaneously
Required Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license • Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications • Current NIH certifications (TNCC and SECURE) • 2 years of experience in emergency nursing, with 1 year of experience in the field of specialty
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Previous experience in a Level III Trauma Center or Level II Stroke Center • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) such as Meditech • Strong communication and teamwork skills
