Therapist Physical Therapist
Job Title: Therapist - Physical Therapist Location: Gainesville, FL Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities: • Provide physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting • Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor patient progress • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care • Educate patients and families on exercise programs, mobility techniques, and home safety measures
Required Qualifications: • Physical Therapist licensure in the state of FL • Current certification from the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) • 2+ years of experience in SNF or similar setting • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working with geriatric or post-acute patients • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
