Therapist Speech Language Pathologist
Job Title: Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist Location: Greenacres, FL Schedule: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities: • Assess and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, and cognitive skills • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring to track patient progress • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
Required Qualifications: • State License as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) • Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is preferred • Recent Covid-19 test results with negative status 72 hours prior to start date and results issued 48 hours prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working with geriatric populations • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment protocols • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
