Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Job Title: Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location: Asheville, NC
Schedule: Nights
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill and post-surgical patients in an Intensive Care Unit (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown setting • Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to optimize patient outcomes • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers • Monitor and report changes in patient condition, including vital signs, laboratory results, and other relevant data
Required Qualifications:
• Current RN licensure in the state of NC • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification • Current NIHSS certification • 2+ years of experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Neuro and Trauma Care experience • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) such as Cerner
