Registered Nurse Orthopedic

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Location Winston-Salem, NC Schedule / Job Type Full-time, Nights Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, and post-surgical patients • Manage pain effectively and stay on top of patient's pain management needs • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans • Monitor patient's vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to identify potential issues and intervene promptly • Educate patients and families on proper wound care, medication management, and post-discharge instructions

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in orthopedic nursing • Current BCLS certification • NIH certification (preferred) • ACLS certification (preferred) • Charge Nurse experience (preferred) • Level I Trauma experience (preferred) • IV Start and Telemetry skills • EKG testing prior to start (required)

Preferred Skills / Certs / Exp:

• ACLS certification • Charge Nurse experience • Level I Trauma experience • Orthopedic experience with a focus on spine care • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
