Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU
Location Fullerton, CA
Schedule / Job Type Full-time, part-time, contract, temp-to-hire, direct hire, onsite, hybrid, or remote. Note: Weekend shifts may exceed every other shift to accommodate unit needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to ensure timely interventions • Educate patients' families on care techniques, treatments, and outcomes
Required Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a level 3 NICU • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of California • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Previous experience in a level 3 NICU • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience
