Registered Nurse Telemetry
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Location: Olathe, KS Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Nights
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care to cardiac telemetry patients • Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, report any abnormal findings to the healthcare team • Assist with post-op cardiac procedures, TR Band care and interventions, acute chest pain, cardiac drips, and Heparin drips • Measure and interpret telemetry rhythms, utilizing knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology • Collaborate with the team to implement a team nursing approach to patient care
Required Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience • Experience with TR Band's straight from procedure • Experience with Cardiac Drips (Olathe mainly does, Heparin some Butamax, Lasix and Cardizem) • Experience with the Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process • Current KS RN or Compact RN License • BLS & ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills: • 3-5 years of TEL experience
