Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services to clients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming • Develop and implement treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop interventions • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Required Qualifications:
• Associate's degree in occupational therapy assistant studies or equivalent • Certification as an occupational therapy assistant (OTA) or ability to become certified • Current CPR/First Aid certification • Valid driver's license (if applicable)
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience working with pediatric or geriatric populations • Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
