Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Tuba City, AZ

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments, and ability to work independently in completing assignments. • Support individuals of all ages and their families with nursing duties. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care. • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with physician's orders and hospital policies. • Monitor and report patient status to physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility. • Valid, current, full and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States of America, or a territory of the United States. • Current valid certifications of the following: • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association • Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire • National Institutes of Health (NIH) – NIHSS – NIH Stroke Scale within six months of hire

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a medical surgical unit or similar setting. • Knowledge of medical surgical procedures and treatments. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
