Tech Nuclear Medicine
Job Title: Contract - Nuclear Medicine Tech
Location: Austin, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13 weeks (Mon-Fri, 7:30A-4:00P)
Key Responsibilities: • Perform nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician • Administer and monitor radiation doses to patients • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including CT and PET scanners • Prepare and process patient images for distribution to radiologists • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and procedure results
Required Qualifications: • ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification or NMTCB certification • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • TMB (Texas Medical Board) licensure
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with nuclear medicine equipment and procedures • Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
