LVN / LPN Medical Surgical
Job Title: LVN / LPN - Medical Surgical
Location: Kansas City, MO
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting, including administering medications, changing IV lines, and performing other procedures as needed • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Monitor and report patient conditions, including vital signs and lab results, to ensure timely interventions • Educate patients and families on proper wound care, medication management, and other health-related topics
Required Qualifications: • Must have MO RN license • Current BLS certification • MO IV certification • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and priorities changes
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) • Knowledge of wound care principles and practices • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull equipment as needed
