Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Schedule: Nights

Key Responsibilities: • Caring for ventilated patients, initiating and titrating IV drips (vasopressors, sedation, and paralytics) • Assist with intubations, line placement • Monitoring critically ill patients with primary diagnosis of sepsis, respiratory failure (acute and chronic), renal failure (acute and chronic), myocardial infarctions, pulmonary embolism, pneumonia • Providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Required Qualifications: • Minimum 1.5 years of ICU experience required, 2 years ICU experience preferred • Strong background in medical patients and critical care with the ability to be flexible, critically think and reason, team oriented, and personable • Current BLS (AHA) certification and ACLS (AHA) certification required • Current RN license

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) • Knowledge of pharmacology and medication management • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
