Job Title: Tech - MRI
Location Burlington, NC
Schedule / Job Type Full-time, 4x9s, Nights (10p-7:30a), Monday-Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
- Ensure accurate and precise imaging results for patients
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement imaging plans
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control and safety standards
- Operate MRI equipment, including scanners and consoles, to produce high-quality images
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience as an MRI technologist
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- PACS and Siemens experience
- Previous charge experience
- EPIC experience
- Adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ED trauma experience
- Abdomen, abdominal MRA, female pelvis, MRCP, male pelvis, abdominal MRV, chest, brain, cranial nerves, face soft tissue neck, head MRA, head MRV, orbits, foot, hand, hip bony pelvis, lower extremity long bones, shoulder, sternum, upper extremity long bones experience
- Isolation precautions, contrast media administration, and starting peripheral IVs experience
- Gradient Echo imaging, MIP, Spin Echo images, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images, and MRP experience
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Pediatric acute care experience
- Abdominal MRV preferred experience
