Job Title: Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant

Schedule Days
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including assessments, treatments, and interventions to promote independence and mobility. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. • Conduct home visits and other community-based assessments to identify patient needs and develop strategies for successful outcomes. • Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on occupational therapy techniques and strategies. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
Required Qualifications:
• Current occupational therapy assistant license in the state of Texas. • Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or related field. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Basic life support certification (CPR) and ability to pass a negative drug screen.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Recent graduate or new graduate occupational therapy assistant with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. • Experience working in skilled nursing facilities (SNF) or other long-term care settings. • Ability to pass a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of start date and provide results 48 hours prior to start date. • Familiarity with electronic medical records and other software applications.
