Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Schedule / Job Type: Nights, Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress • Utilize telehealth technology to remotely manage patients and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Required Qualifications:
• Current compact or Virginia license to practice as a Registered Nurse • BLS certification via American Heart Association • ACLS certification via American Heart Association • NIHSS certification • EPIC system proficiency • 2 years of experience working with neurology/stroke patients • Valid travel experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience with telehealth technology and remote patient management • Knowledge of neurology and stroke patient care • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
