Registered Nurse Medical Surgical
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Location Charleston, SC Schedule / Job Type Full-time, part-time, contract, temp-to-hire, direct hire
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care on medical-surgical floors at the Main hospital and Ashley River tower • Follow established unit ratios and adjust as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians • Monitor patient conditions, identify potential complications, and report concerns to healthcare teams
Required Qualifications: • Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Previous experience in medical-surgical nursing • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and Epic system • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
