Registered Nurse Operating Room
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Location Charleston, SC Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 3x12s (630a-7p) or 4x10s (630a-5p), with one late week per 4 weeks to complete cases
Key Responsibilities: • Manage and coordinate pre, intra, and post-operative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations • Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia levels, and surgical site conditions • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians • Document patient information and surgical outcomes accurately and thoroughly
Required Qualifications: • Current SC or Compact License as a Registered Nurse • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Radiation badge provided by parent company of ORs • 9 years of experience in OR setting, preferably in ophthalmology, ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, endocrine, or surgical oncology
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working in fast-paced OR environments • Knowledge of surgical procedures and anesthesia protocols • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
