Registered Nurse LTC/SNF
Job Title: Registered Nurse - LTC/SNF
Location: Honokaa, HI
Schedule: Full-time, Varied shift scheduling of 8-hour shifts: Days (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM), Evenings (3:30 PM - 11:30 PM), and Nights (11:30 PM - 7:30 AM), including weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform assessments, treatments, and medication administration for patients in a long-term care facility setting • Admit, discharge, and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for residents • Provide care for patients with gastrostomy tubes, urinary catheters, and other medical devices • Administer nebulizer treatments and perform wound vacuum care • Provide CPAP care and other assigned duties as needed
Required Qualifications: • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Hawaii • Previous experience working in a long-term care facility using Epic EMR system • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR system through testing out of Epic training during facility orientation • Documentation of immunity for facility requirements, as required by employee health
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Previous experience working in a long-term care facility or skilled nursing facility • Experience with Epic EMR system and other electronic medical records systems • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
