Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Nights
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment • Read and interpret electrocardiograms (ECGs) and other rhythms with 80% accuracy or higher • Identify critical rhythms with 100% accuracy • Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) such as EPIC to document patient information • Operate automated dispensing systems (ADS) such as Omnicell-Med • Participate in code blue and trauma responses as a Triage Level 1 trauma nurse
Required Qualifications: • Current New York State license as a Registered Nurse • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification • Neonatal Resuscitation Institute (NIH) certification • Minimal RTO (Return to Work) time of 7 days or less
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Telemetry experience preferred • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification • Experience with automated dispensing systems (ADS) such as Omnicell-Med • Ability to float to other units as needed
