Therapist Occupational Therapy Assistant
Job Title: Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant Location Norwalk, IA Schedule / Job Type Full-time
Key Responsibilities: • Provide occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming • Use equipment and materials to help patients develop skills and abilities • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Required Qualifications: • State license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) • Current resume and license verification attached • 3 professional references • Clean criminal record with no convictions for the past 7 years
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting • Recent COVID-19 test results with clearance to start work • Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus
