Respiratory Therapist - Nights
Location Plattsburgh, NY
Schedule / Job Type Full-time
Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality patient care as a respiratory therapist, including assessing and treating patients with respiratory disorders • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans • Operate and maintain various medical equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices • Educate patients and families on proper use of equipment and disease management techniques • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications • Minimum of 2-3 years of respiratory therapist experience • NRP certification or equivalent experience in neonatal/pediatric population • EPIC experience from within the past 2 years • New York state license or proof of application with applied date
Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience working in a hospital setting, including pediatric and adult populations • Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare information systems • Strong communication and teamwork skills
