Job Title: Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill and medically complex patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, and Stepdown Unit • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians, and document patient information in a timely and accurate manner • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal outcomes • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Delaware or Compact License • 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or ICU setting • Current certifications in areas such as ACLS, PALS, and BLS • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and Cerner system • Experience with feeding tube care, CVC care, Foley catheter insertion and maintenance, Tracheostomy care, and Chest tube management
