Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Chillicothe, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Day shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including antepartum and post-delivery care
- Care for mother-infant "couplets" during hospitalization
- Monitor and assess GYN surgical patients and antepartum patients
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the labor and delivery process
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or eligible for licensure
- Experience caring for obstetric, antepartum, and postpartum patients
- Strong assessment and monitoring skills for labor and GYN surgical patients
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous experience in labor and delivery or maternal-infant units
- BLS/ACLS certification recommended or required
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
