Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Administer treatments, monitor patient vitals, and assist with emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient care.
• Utilize electronic health record systems, including EPIC, for documentation and patient management.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, adhering to hospital policies and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, demonstrating proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department (ED) nursing experience.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• PALS certification preferred but not required.
• Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
