Full-time, 8-hour days (Monday - Friday or any Saturday/Sunday scheduled)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient physical therapy services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized plans of care, including long-term and short-term goals.
• Perform patient evaluations including strength testing, vital signs, pain assessment, and skin integrity checks.
• Utilize documentation system (Meditech) to accurately record patient progress and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and their families on safety, injury prevention, and post-discharge care.
• Assist with gait training, the use of assistive devices, and implement strategies to overcome environmental barriers.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid state license in physical therapy.
• 1+ years of inpatient experience, preferably with a diverse patient population.
• Knowledge of cardiopulmonary, orthopedics, geriatrics, and acute care therapies.
• Proficiency in documentation and communication systems (SBAR).
• Ability to perform assessments and utilize therapeutic modalities such as AROM, PROM, assistive devices, and skin integrity evaluations.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with post-surgical rehabilitation (e.g., total hip/knee replacements).
• Exposure to cognitive disorders, dementia, or stroke recovery.
• Familiarity with safety and injury prevention protocols in hospital settings.
