Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Full-time, Night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in a lower acuity cardiac unit, floating within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed.
• Monitor and manage patients with diverse cardiac conditions during night shifts.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and other critical nursing procedures.
• Utilize electronic health records, including Epic, for documentation and communication.
• Adapt to rotating holidays and occasional weekend shifts to meet department needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or cardiac stepdown setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Proven proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience working in a lower acuity cardiac or IMC setting.
• Ability to float across units and adapt to varying patient acuity.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
