Full-time, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients in an acute care setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage cardiac drips, including Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem, and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation
- Perform post-procedure assessments, including TR Band applications
- Document patient information and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry experience
- Experience with cardiac drips and post-procedure care, including TR Band management
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2-5 years of telemetry nursing experience
- Ability to float across all acute care units as needed
