Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location: Hermiston, OR
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, days, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a medical-surgical setting
• Collaborate with a team of nurses and hospitalists to coordinate patient care
• Manage patient assessments, treatments, and documentation accurately
• Support patient education and discharge planning as needed
• Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Oregon or the ability to obtain one
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience in a hospital or equivalent setting
• Ability to work a three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a rural or community hospital setting
• Ability to adapt quickly to new protocols and workflows
• Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric populations
