Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days (3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced obstetric skills.
- Perform IV starts and other bedside procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards, including required certifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable in Ohio.
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and NCC C-EFM.
- Proven experience with Epic electronic health records system.
- Demonstrated ability to perform IV starts and manage labor/delivery cases.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous travel nursing experience in labor and delivery.
- Ability to float between units if needed.
- Familiarity with AWHONN advanced skills and protocols.
