Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, including postpartum and newborn care
- Float between Med-Surg and Emergency Department units as required
- Support patient needs during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records in compliance with hospital standards
- Work a minimum of every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day
- Ensure adherence to all facility policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum, and Newborn) experience
- Experience working in birthing departments including Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum, and Newborn Care
- Epic electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to work floating shifts across med-surg and ED units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and vehicle equipped with all-season or snow tires during winter months (November–April)

Additional Information
- Assignment scheduled for 13 weeks, with no block scheduling
- Bi-weekly orientation sessions on Mondays
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be fully explained
- Complete work history details including bed count, EMR system, and facility type are required for submission
- Reliable personal transportation is essential as public transit is not accessible in this area
Note: This facility requires all staff to work Monday through Sunday shifts.
Travel Rate: $120 per day for travel; local rate $110 for 50 miles or less; radius rate $115 for 51-100 miles.
