Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Night shifts, 36 hours per week (7pm-7am), including 3 weekend shifts per month, floating to other units/departments as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a Medical Surgical unit, adhering to established protocols and procedures
• Utilize patient care equipment such as IV pumps, wound vacs, lifts, feeding pumps, SCDs, NG tubes, suction devices, and Foley catheters
• Document patient information accurately using computerized charting and medication management systems
• Support patient safety and comfort through assessment, intervention, and communication
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality care and smooth unit operations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Valid Indiana or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment during night shifts
• Flexibility to float to other units/departments as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Medical Surgical patient care protocols and procedures
• Familiarity with anesthesia or critical care equipment is a plus
