Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care to antepartum, labor, and high-risk obstetric patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor fetal heart rates and high-risk pregnancies
- Assist with deliveries, including vaginal births and cesarean sections
- Support postpartum and couplet care, caring for both mother and newborn
- Float to postpartum as needed, maintaining flexibility in unit assignments
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP, FHM certifications
- At least 2 years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery
- Ability to perform fetal monitoring and high-risk pregnancy management
- AHA certifications for ACLS/BCLS
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience with postpartum couplet care
- Previous labor and delivery experience in a high-volume hospital environment
