Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients in a Level II Nursery setting.
• Maintain appropriate patient-to-nurse ratios, typically 1:3 or 1:2, adhering to clinical standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic health records.

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of California.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Willingness to float between units as needed.
• Open to first-time travelers.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a Level II Neonatal Nursery.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records system.
