Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, float requirement, every other weekend, contracts for 16-17 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a 24-bed med/surg/tele overflow unit
• Monitor and respond to patient needs, including treatment of dysrhythmias with correct procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes and Exceptional patient experience
• Use hospital systems such as Epic and Pyxis efficiently, following unit standards and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and report patient status via SBAR communication

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, with previous telemetry experience
• BCLS certification required
• Ability to accurately interpret and treat dysrhythmias
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Valid RN license in North Carolina

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a fast-paced, overflow med/surg/tele environment
• Familiarity with hospital systems such as Epic and Pyxis
• Flexibility to work night shifts and float to sister units

• 48-hour work week with no OT until after 48 hours; no onsite work, work from a remote setting is not permitted
