Job Title: Tech - Cath Lab/EP
Location: Columbia, SC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days, 13 to 20-week contract (cannot take time off between Christmas and New Year). Must work 2 of the 3 main holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with 1-2 late shifts per week. No weekends. One call shift (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) during holiday weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with advanced cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in the CV laboratory.
- Support staff in invasive cardiac testing and interventions.
- Ensure proper setup and sterilization of equipment.
- Monitor patients during procedures and assist with patient care activities.
- Maintain compliance with safety and procedural protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a health sciences program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in EP or Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Valid RCIS or RCES certification.
- SCRQSA registration required.
- At least 1 year of experience with Epic EMR.
- Minimum of 1 year of scrub experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Tilt table study experience.
