Tech Cath Lab/EP
Job Title: Tech - Cath Lab/EP
Location: Columbia, SC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab.
- Support the team during invasive studies, including cardiac catheterizations, EP studies, and tilt table tests.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain and prepare equipment and supplies for daily procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Required Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a health sciences program.
- Minimum of 2 years of EP or Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
- Current RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) certification.
- SCRQSA certification preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience using Epic EMR.
- Minimum of 1 year of scrub experience.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with tilt table studies.
Additional Details:
- Contract length options from 13 to 20 weeks.
- No time off allowed between Christmas and New Year.
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
- Schedule includes 1-2 late stay shifts per week; no weekends.
- One call shift from 8 AM to 12 PM during holiday weekends.
