Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts, contract (13 weeks)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory therapy services in a high-acuity PICU and NICU setting during night shifts.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as prescribed.
- Support first-time travelers and adapt to evolving patient needs in a dynamic environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license or credential.
- Proven experience in pediatric intensive care units (PICU) and neonatal intensive care units (NICU).
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and procedures.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced hospital setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous experience working in a Level 1 trauma or teaching hospital.
- Familiarity with advanced ventilator management and neonatal respiratory care.
