Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgical team in performing a variety of operative procedures within the operating room.
• Maintain sterile standards and ensure patient safety during surgeries.
• Prepare, transport, and supervise patients under the direct supervision of surgical services RN staff.
• Keep accurate documentation using the EPIC system.
• Support team efforts to ensure smooth workflow in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification.
• Completion of operating room scrub tech course is desirable.
• Experience in an operating room setting preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Must badge in and out at the facility.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience working with Sanford Health or similar organizations.
• Familiarity with EPIC or comparable electronic charting systems.
• Ability to handle diverse surgical procedures and assist effectively.
