Job Title: Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

Location: Alexandria, VA

Schedule / Job Type: Day shifts, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy assistance to patients under the supervision of licensed therapists.
• Support patient treatment plans through exercises and therapeutic activities.
• Document patient progress and report to supervising therapists.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and confidentiality standards.
• Assist with patient education and equipment setup as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid physical therapy assistant license for the state of Virginia.
• CPR certification.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks including criminal and sex offender searches.
• Successful completion of COVID-19 testing within 72 hours of start date, with results issued 48 hours prior.
• Complete credentialing checklist including license verification, social security trace, and criminal background checks.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Recent graduate accepted.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
