Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary disorders across NICU, PICU, and adult ICU units.
• Perform therapeutic interventions, including blood gas analysis, lung capacity measurements, and equipment management.
• Administer treatments using specialized respiratory equipment and ensure proper documentation within electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health, self-management, and preventative care.
• Participate in shift rotations, including weekends and holidays, with potential to work additional shifts or float to other units as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in NICU, PICU, or adult ICU.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• State licensure in North Dakota or willingness to apply within 72 hours of offer acceptance.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential highly preferred.
• Additional certifications such as NRP and PALS are highly preferred.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, handle patient emergencies, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with NICU, PICU, or adult ICU patient populations.
• Familiarity with advanced respiratory equipment and electronic charting systems such as Epic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining flexibility to float between units and locations.
