Full-time, Night Shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced patient care in a Level 1 trauma center ICU with a focus on neuro, orthopedic, thoracic, urology, gynecology, plastics, and pediatric surgical patients.
• Manage a high-acuity, fast-paced environment, including intubated and critically ill patients.
• Work in a 24/7 staffed ICU and PACU, providing support for all surgical specialties except open-heart surgery.
• Participate in holiday rotations and be available for 12-24 hours of call every six weeks.
• Utilize Cerner electronic health records system and adhere to hospital protocols for trauma and surgical care.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Indiana or a Compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
• Experience with neuro, ortho, PV, thoracic, urology, gynecology, plastics, peds, and intubated patient management.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, critical care setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience working in a large, fast-paced trauma or specialty ICU.
• Knowledge of Cerner electronic health records and surgical services.
• Ability to handle critical or complex cases across multiple surgical disciplines.
