Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP
Location: St. Louis, MO
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Procedure Center, including prep and recovery for cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and monitoring during diagnostic and interventional PCI procedures.
• Administer conscious sedation under physician supervision, manage sterile supplies, and document care in the electronic health record system.
• Support procedures such as cardiac stent placements, valve replacements, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, cardiac ablations, and vascular interventions.
• Cross-train to operate hemodynamics and monitor tech roles as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including passage of the Relias EKG exam and management of dysrhythmias.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Missouri or applicable licensing authority.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a prep, recovery, or cath lab setting.
• Experience with pulling sheaths, caring for TR Bands, and managing post-procedure patient care.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience in interventional cardiology or cardiac cath lab.
• Knowledge of Impella, IABP, and other cardiac devices.
• Experience with EP labs and complex cardiac procedures.
