Key Responsibilities:

• Provide post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Monitor and manage patients with invasive lines, ICP monitoring, and vasoactive medication administration.
• Recognize and manage dysrhythmias, facilitate blood product transfusions, and perform phlebotomy and IV starts.
• Care for ventilated patients and those requiring artificial airways, ensuring safety and stability.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive post-op recovery.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing; pending licenses accepted.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Critical care experience in an inpatient, acute care setting.
• Experience with Level I Trauma Center protocols and post-op patient care.
• Proficient in dysrhythmia recognition, blood product administration, IV therapy, and ICP monitoring.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience caring for adult, adolescent, and geriatric trauma patients.
• Prior recovery experience in a busy surgical or trauma environment.
