Full-time, Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac ICU patients, including post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-catheterization support.
• Monitor hemodynamic parameters using advanced equipment such as swan ganz catheters and arterial lines.
• Manage ventilators and ensure optimal respiratory support for critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
• Document patient progress and treatments accurately in Meditech system.
• Respond to emergencies swiftly, demonstrating strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, preferably in a cardiac or critical care setting.
• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience with Meditech charting and order entry.
• Ability to work the night shift and adapt to floating requirements across units.

Preferred Skills / Experience:

• Exposure to IABP, CRRT, and ECMO procedures.
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac support devices such as Impella.
• Prior experience with Meditech Electronic Medical Record system.

Note: This is a 13-week travel assignment starting August 15, 2025, with an elevated rate of $75/hour. Flexibility to float across units and adherence to hospital dress code and policies are required.
