Schedule / Job Type: Travel, Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care for obstetric and delivery patients in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit.
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, postpartum procedures, and high-risk obstetric cases.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced equipment and electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Support patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery, maintaining compassionate patient interactions.
- Follow unit policies and procedures, including emergency protocols and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification are required.
- Experience circulating in the Operating Room is preferred.
- Must have recent experience in labor and delivery settings.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (Meditech) and GE monitors.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Travel nursing experience in labor and delivery.
- PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) experience.
- Knowledge of high-risk obstetric procedures and protocols.
